When you use SimpliResy, we collect the following information:

Account Information

• Name and email address from your Google account
• Profile picture (from Google)
• Username you choose during onboarding

Profile & Resume Data

• Education history, work experience, and skills you provide
• Projects, certifications, and other professional details
• Resumes generated through the resume tailor feature

Usage Data

• Pages visited and features used within the application
• Device type, browser, and general location (country level)

We use your information to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Generate your professional dashboard and public profile
• Power the AI resume tailor to match your experience with job descriptions
• Process subscription payments through Stripe
• Export resumes to Google Docs (when you grant permission)
• Improve our services and fix issues
• Send important account-related notifications

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Your data is stored securely in PostgreSQL databases hosted by Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Secure authentication via Google OAuth 2.0
• JWT-based session management with 30-day expiry
• No storage of Google account passwords

We use the following third-party services to operate SimpliResy:

• Google OAuth — For secure sign-in. We receive your name, email, and profile picture. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Drive & Docs API — Only when you choose to export a resume. We only access files we create. Google API Services User Data Policy
• Stripe — For payment processing (billed by Thinkthread LLC). We do not store your credit card information. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Groq — For AI-powered resume tailoring. Job descriptions you submit are processed by AI models but are not stored by the AI provider.
• Supabase — For database hosting. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Vercel — For application hosting. Vercel Privacy Policy

You have the right to:

• Access and view all personal data we hold about you
• Update or correct your profile information at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Revoke Google Drive access from your Google account settings
• Cancel your subscription at any time
• Opt out of non-essential notifications

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete all your personal data, profile information, and generated resumes within 30 days.

Payment records may be retained as required by law for tax and accounting purposes.
